Meet Our Team
The staff of Green Oaks North Pet Hospital are chosen for their professionalism, compassion, and love of animals. Our compassionate and caring team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, receptionists, administrative staff, and animal care specialists are committed to bringing you the very best in comprehensive veterinary care for your pets.
Dr. Brad Hulka, DVM
Veterinarian / Owner
Graduated from Texas A&M in 1998, earning his degree in Veterinary Medicine. He joined our staff at Green Oaks North Pet Hospital in 1998 and purchased the clinic in early 2010. He is passionate about making a difference in veterinary care, focusing on the quality of life for all animals. When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Hulka can be found riding his road bike with his wife Katie. He also enjoys hiking with his dogs, Happy and Stella, and Rhett, and watching Aggie football. Dr. Hulka is a member of the Tarrant County Veterinary Medical Association, the Texas Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. J.B. White, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. White was born and raised in Tyler, Texas. He grew up with a wide array of pets, so becoming a veterinarian was a natural calling for him. Dr. White graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University before moving to Australia to study veterinary medicine at the University of Sydney, graduating with his doctor of veterinary medicine in 2022. Following graduation, Dr. White worked for a year in mixed practice outside of Brisbane, Australia.
Dr. White enjoys spending his spare time with his cat, Maggie, playing video games, building models, going to Rangers games, Scuba diving, and getting out and about now that he’s back home in Texas.
Cynthia
Cynthia joined the GONPH team in May 2023. With a passion for customer service, she began her career in veterinary medicine in 2002 as a CSR. She has a strong desire to help the bond between the pet parents and the veterinary teams grow stronger and to do this she feels they must truly understand one another and work together for the best interest of the patient.
In her own words: “The single most important thing to me in my life, outside my family, is my clinic and all the life within. Each client, each patient, each team member holds a special place for me.”
Cynthia is the proud mom of a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix named Millie and a Great Dane named Remi- each with their own unique story and personality. She is passionate about her family and is blessed to be the only sister of five brothers. She loves cooking, entertaining, photography, and reading.
Laura, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Laura joined our team in April 2011. She graduated from Cedar Valley College Veterinary Technician program and is Fear Free certified. With a previous background in education and science from UNT, learning is something she enjoys and continues to do. Laura loves to teach and she trains all of our medical team members in the ways of Green Oaks North Pet Hospital. She is a fixture within the practice and exudes great compassion for our patients and clients. Laura and her husband, Kurt, have 2 dogs and a cat, all seniors. They love to travel and explore new places whenever possible.

Karlie
Lead Veterinary Technician
Karlie started her career in the veterinary field in 2015 and is passionate about advocating for animals. She’s dedicated to helping as many animals as she can. Karlie has an Aussie/Husky mix named Gage, who loves joining her on bike rides. She also has a Maine Coon mix named Xur and a Siamese cat named Loki. In her free time, Karlie enjoys making memories with her family, mountain biking, and playing video games. A fun fact about her: she also loves painting and working on cars and motorcycles.
Stevi
Veterinary Technician
Stevi began their journey in the veterinary field in 2014 and joined our clinic in 2023. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Sciences from UMASS and later pursued their Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Tuskegee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Stevi’s favorite part of veterinary medicine is working with client and pet pairs that truly belong together. They find joy in seeing the bond between pets and their owners and believe it’s evident when two are meant to be a team.
Outside of work, Stevi enjoys playing video games, walking their dog, and spending time playing board and card games. They share their life with a loving pack of pets, including Mulan, a Pit/Boxer mix, Mirio, an orange tabby cat, and two ferrets, Mushu and Moana.
Fun Fact: Stevi is also a former D1 track athlete.
Cathy
Originally from Louisiana; Cathy joined our team in August of 2019. She has a degree in Family and Child Studies. However, Cathy stumbled into the veterinary field shortly after graduating in 2012. She is driven by her compassion for animals and love of learning. In her free time she loves spending time with her boyfriend – Josh, and their two pets; a spoiled kitty named Melvin and a goofy Husky named Nero!

Alex
Veterinary Technician
Alex began his journey in the veterinary industry in 2018 and joined the Green Oaks family in August 2022. He has always had a passion for being the voice of the voiceless and educating others. He’s currently pursuing his Bachelors at Texas Tech University and will be graduating in the spring of 2023. You can usually find Alex at record shops trying to grow his record collection, as well as playing video games, traveling, and spending time with his husband and six fur babies.
Tiffanie
Veterinary Technician
Tiffanie joined Green Oaks in September of 2021. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Korean. She completed her pre-vet requisites in 2020 and is applying to veterinary school next year. In the meantime, she is gaining experience, exposure, and learning the ropes of the veterinary industry. Having grown up in the restaurant industry she is a manager by night at her parents’ restaurant. In her free time, she likes to study, watch movies, and spend time with her 2 cats Smoky and Azuki.
Avery
Certified Veterinary Technician
Avery is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been in the field since October 2021. Avery earned her certification for Animal Science and Veterinary Assistant Certification in May of 2023. Her favorite part about vet medicine is when clients and pets leave happy, especially with pets that stree easy. She enjoys guiding her clients and pets carefully through their experiences. She chose this field because there are millions of pets out there who deserve optimal care, and she wants to provide that care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her partner, playing video games, or hanging out with friends. Her prized old fart, Luna, is a Pitbull/Lab mix who loves to play in water and yell at her when she comes home. Bowdy, her brainless basset hound, never leaves her side and requires lovin at all times.
Adriana
Veterinary Technician
Adriana is our Veterinary Technician and has been in the filed since 2015. She went to Tuskegee College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2024. Her favorite part about the field is the ability to allow the animal and human bond to florish through providing consistant preventative healthcare. She enjoys working at Greenoaks Animal Hospital because the team truly cares for the animls and their owners. In her spare time Adriana goes to dance classes and playing on her Ninetndo switch. Adriana has a chihuahua named Sugar, a Lab mix named Zinc, and a Dachshund named Tigger. They love to lounge around with her when she is off work. Zinc is the most active of the bunch, he enjoys fetching and swimming.
Rin
Rin studied at the University of Boulder and started her career in veterinary medicine in 2024. Her favorite aspect of the job is helping pets feel safe and comfortable. In her spare time, she enjoys caring for her plants. She shares her home with a Belgian Malinois named Zorro, three cats named Jade, Malachi, and Moe, and a bearded dragon.
Bennett
(He/Him)
Bennett became certified through the University of Texas at Arlington in 2021 and has been working in the veterinary field since then. His lifelong passion for working with animals makes providing care and treatment deeply fulfilling for him. When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with friends and editing videos. Bennett has a grey tuxedo cat named Cas and two tabby cats named Sam and Dean. Fun fact: He played bass for eight years!
Freedom
Customer Service Representative
Freedom’s favorite part of working in the field is learning new things and getting to see all the cute babies that come into the clinic! In their spare time, Freedom enjoys spending time with her cat, taking care of her plants, drawing, and being in nature. Freedom has a lilac siamese cat named Keiko, a dilute calico named Bean & a tabby named Tony. They all love playing and stalking her in the kitchen when making food!
Lori
Customer Service Representative
Lori has been in the field for over a year now and says her favorite part about it is getting to meet all of the clients and their pets! Lori attended Texas A&M University and completed her degree in 1985 with a degree in Elementary Education. In her spare time she enjoys watching baseball especially whenever her grandson or nephews are playing. Lori has a pet tibetan spaniel named Emma, who gives the best hugs!
Brooklyn
Kennel Techinician
Brooklyn began working in the veterinary field in 2024, inspired by a deep passion for being an advocate for animals of all sizes. A graduate of Arlington High School, she was actively involved in FFA and showed a variety of livestock, including cattle, sheep, goats, and swine. She is currently attending TCC, with plans to transfer to Tarleton State to continue her education in animal science. In her free time, Brooklyn enjoys spending time with her family, going antique shopping, and helping her grandparents with their cattle.
Her pets include two dogs, Hazel (mini Austrialian sheperd), Kylie (Blue Heeler). Both have opposit personalities. Kylie is a one person dog, she is always right beside me and is very teritorial of me. Hazel on the other hand is a family dog, she loves everyone that gives her attention.
